Al&Alicia—Spring '12

DESIGN & PRODUCTION

Taking cues from comic books of our past,
superhero alter egos became the backdrop
of the brand’s Spring/Summer 2012 collection
titled “Time To Pretend”.

Al&Alicia is a Singapore-based womenswear label focused on delivering comfortable, wearable essentials. I helped develop a collection of casual, laid back looks for Spring/Summer 2012, where color-blocking, cutouts and graphic prints became the sartorial cues of a collection inspired by retro posters, comic book heroes and a notion of California-cool.

TIME TO PRETEND—VIDEO CAMPAIGN

For the collection’s Time To Pretend lookbook & video campaign, I worked alongside a production team to create a pop art inspired backdrop of primary colors to host the playful, cheeky looks that represent the fiery desire to reconcile with the superhero alter ego hidden within us all.
