EXPERIENTIAL DESIGN

Designed concepts and collateral
for a weekend long, tropical-inspired destination
wedding in Bali, paying homage to the couples’
Indian and Indonesian heritages.

Jinesh and Ekta’s wedding consisted of five events spread across three days. A Balinese themed welcome dinner with extravagant performances paid homage to the bride’s Indonesian culture and was followed by a Studio 54 inspired disco afterparty. A Bali-meets-Palm-Springs beachfront henna party preceded their traditional Indian wedding ceremony that took place under a custom-built mandap (altar), and finally, the weekend wrapped up with an elegant black tie affair.

We designed each event as an experience in and of itself, including party favors such as beach bag hampers with the couple’s favorite novelty items from around the world, ‘hangover’ kits, keepsake fans, hotel keycards and a customized guidebook on Bali to honor the bridegrooms wishes for a warm, inclusive and hospitable experience for each and every guest.

Special menu cocktail bars, fresh flower-crown booths and kids’ picnic stations were some of the details that were meticulously considered, resulting in a wedding rooted in Indian culture, with a tropical, feminine twist.
